Der Blaue Reiter is a Catalan music project that was founded in January 2005, which plays apocalyptic ambiences mixed with neoclassical passages and martial percussions . Their first official release was "Le paradis funèbre", released in 2005 by their label Distant Art Creations.

 

In 2006, the band wanted to increase its strength by adding new members, consequently the violinist Lady Nott, joined Der Blaue Reiter, and together, they recorded their 1st album, " Le paradis Funebre - L' envers de la tristesse" and made their first concert in October 2007 in a Cold Meat Industry Festival that was celebrated in Madrid.

 

During february 2008 Der Blaue Reiter released their 2nd full album "Silencis" by Caustic Records, inspired in an apocaliptic vision of the last days of the world and the end of the humanity.

 

In January  2009, the band signed with the german label Black Rain - Ars Musica Diffundere, and after,  they recorded their 3nd album inspired in the nuclear catastrophe of Chernobyl , "Nuclear Sun - Chronicle of a nuclear disaster ", which was released in May 2009 during a magestic performance in the Wave Gotik Treffen (Leipzig).
This album was very important for the band, and they played a lot of festivals and stages around Europe with a great support from the audience.

 

After some years of intense work, Der Blaue Reiter finishes  the recording of the new album "Le paradis funèbre II - L' adieu du silence", that was released during september 2014 by Neuropa Records, receiving very good feedback and some concerts in famous festivals like Noctural Kulture Night  or Wave Gothik Treffen.

After last album of the band "L' adieu du silence", Lady Nott decides to leave from the band, and Cecilia Bjärgo (Arcana / Sophia) will be part of the lineup for the future of the band next to the founder member Sathorys Elenorth.

 

At the present, Der Blaue Reiter, are working hard in the imminent release of "Dies the cendra" EP by La Esencia, and the forthcoming full album of the band called "Fragments of life, love & war" that will be released during may 2015. This new opus will be another great chapter in the band's career, impregnated of a powerful and martial ambience embraced by the painful destiny of the humanity and the last days in their lifes...
